Generate business cases, success plans, and more from client call transcripts with AI—directly in your Dock workspaces.

With the new Dock AI widget, you can turn a client call transcript, document, or Gong recording into tailored content for your client’s workspace—in just a few clicks.

Here's a quick demo:

You can use the Dock AI widget to generate:

  • Business cases
  • Meeting recaps
  • Customer success plans
  • Executive summaries
  • Proof of concept plans
  • Project plans & checklists
  • And anything else you need…

It’s never been easier to wrap up a client meeting and quickly follow up with a fully personalized Dock workspace.

And this is just the start—we have lots of AI features coming to Dock this year to generate content and enable your team in Dock.

How it works

Using Dock AI is simple.

1. Select the Dock AI Widget

From the workspace editor, go to Add Section and select Dock AI.

Select Dock AI from the widgets list

2. Choose what to create

You’ll be asked to generate a business case, meeting recap, success plan, proof of concept, or something else (with your own prompt).

"Something Else" lets you write your own prompt.

3. Select a source

Choose where to pull your content from: copy-pasted text, a document, or a recent Gong call recording.

Selecting Gong as a source will pull up a list of recent calls.

You can also add specific instructions or context for the AI to follow, helping tailor the output even further.

4. Review, refine, and add to workspace

Based on the source file, Dock AI will generate suggested sections to add to your workspace. This includes text sections, tables, and action plan checklists for now.

From there, you can:

  • Refine each section with further AI prompts
  • Add sections one at a time to your workspace
  • Use the “Add All” option to drop everything in at once.
Click “+ Add all” to add every section to the workspace at once.

5. Edit in the workspace

Once those sections are in the workspace, you can edit them like any other section. And you can return to the Dock AI widget to generate more sections as needed.

Dock AI-generated content can be edited just like any other section.

A note on AI credits

For now, we’ve pre-loaded every Dock user account with 50 monthly AI credits. Each request to Dock AI equates to one credit.

To be clear, this is a temporary amount of credits. We’re still figuring out exactly how many credits to give each account, as there’s a real computing cost associated with each call to the AI.

Over time, your monthly credit allotment will align with your plan: Free, Starter, Growth, or Enterprise. I.e., Starter will get the fewest amount of credits, Growth will get more, and Enterprise will get the most—plus the ability for custom AI credit plans.

We’d love your feedback

We’ve been really patient with adding AI features to Dock. Nobody wants more AI for the sake of AI.

But what we’ve consistently heard from customers is that you’d love more ways to quickly populate your Dock workspaces with personalized follow-up content. And AI is the perfect use case for that.

We consider the Dock AI widget still in beta for now, and we welcome any and all thoughts on how we can keep improving.

This is just the start of AI in Dock. We’ll continue to build some AI magic into the product throughout the year. Can’t wait to share more updates soon!
