Manage all your sales and onboarding tasks from a single dashboard.

Dock’s new Tasks dashboard lets you see and edit all your customer tasks in one place — so now you don’t have to click into each workspace to see your next steps.

The new Tasks roll-up makes it easy to:

  • Quickly work through your own overdue tasks
  • See where clients are holding back deals or implementations
  • See which team members are thriving or falling behind

This was a highly requested feature for a while now, so we're really excited to launch it. Keep reading to learn how to make the most out of the new Tasks dashboard.

See all your tasks from one dashboard

You can access the Tasks dashboard from the lefthand navigation in Dock. Near the top, you’ll find big buttons for tabbing between the following tasks: 

  • Open
  • Overdue
  • Completed
  • All

Filter your tasks

You have four options for filtering tasks:

1. Filter by account

You can filter tasks by All Accounts, My Accounts, or a specific customer.

2. Filter by assignee

You can filter tasks by who’s assigned the task:

  • All tasks
  • Unassigned. Any tasks that do not have an "assignee"
  • My Company tasks. Any tasks owned by your org
  • Customer tasks. Any tasks owned externally
  • Specific person. Pick and choose one or more people to see the tasks they own.
Tip: Filtering by “Unassigned” tasks is a great way to clean up task ownership.

3. Filter by recent workspace activity

You can also filter tasks by how recently their workspace was modified. For example, you might only want to see your tasks from workspaces that have been active this week.

This is a great filter to stay on top of your hottest deals

4. Filter by internal vs. external tasks

You can also quickly filter between all tasks, internal tasks, or external tasks. 

Tip: You can use this in combination with the account filter to see what tasks are outstanding for a client.

Edit and complete tasks

In this view, you can complete tasks or edit their settings. To mark a task as complete, simply check it off.

You also can edit a task by clicking on it. Here, you can adjust anything you need to, leave a comment, upload a file, or add subtasks.

This update should make it way easier to go through all your outstanding customer tasks in one go.

This launch, combined with our new Workspace Views and Reports, give you way more global oversight over everything that's going on in your sales and onboarding cycles.
